The Challenge
Carloginn — a car-accessories D2C brand — needed a scroll-stopping vertical video ad for its Transformer Series key cover. A traditional product shoot (model, location, car, crew, edit) runs ₹40,000–80,000 and takes 2–3 weeks. The brand wanted broadcast-grade motion, a real product hero, and platform-native pacing — without the cost or the calendar.
The brief
Carloginn sells car accessories D2C — key covers, curtains, alloy interior pieces. For the launch push on its Transformer Series key cover (a Tata 4-button smart-key cover), the brand needed a vertical video ad that felt premium and native to Instagram Reels — not a static product card.
The traditional route to that ad:
- Cost: ₹40,000–₹80,000 for a model, location, car, crew, and edit
- Time: 2–3 weeks of scheduling, shooting, and post
- Risk: one shoot, one look — reshoots cost the same again
We produced it a different way: AI generation, with a human production pipeline wrapped around it so the output is broadcast-grade and the product stays true to itself.
The concept — “Carry Different”
We pivoted from a literal “scratch-proof cover” utility ad to a lifestyle idea: your car key is an accessory you handle 20 times a day. Kept deliberately aspirational — “Your ₹15 lakh car. This key.” — with a black 2026 Tata Nexon and a day-in-the-life cut rhythm. The product is the hero; the story is the feeling.
The exact workflow
This is the pipeline we run on every AI ad — the same one that powers the AI Video Ad Production service. Two hard approval gates keep credits from being wasted.
1 · Character sheet → model approval gate
Before anything moves, we generate 2–3 character/model sheets (via Freepik / Magnific) and stop for the client’s approval. Nothing downstream is generated until the model is signed off.
We learned this the expensive way: an early 13-frame board was built on an unapproved model and had to be fully regenerated. Model approval now always comes first.
2 · Storyboard → storyboard approval gate
With the model locked, we build the full shot list as still keyframes — locations, props, wardrobe, camera angles. The client sees the whole ad as a board before a single second of video is rendered.
3 · Seedance render (Higgsfield)
Approved keyframes are animated with Seedance 2.0 in director mode — a 720p draft to lock motion, then a 1080p master. This is where the lifestyle motion comes alive: hands, light, the car, the environment.
4 · The product-fidelity fix (the part most AI ads get wrong)
AI video will morph exact product geometry in close-ups — the key’s 4-button layout drifted to a 2×2 grid, a round dial, even a flipped key. Re-rolling didn’t fix it.
Our doctrine: AI carries the lifestyle motion where geometry doesn’t matter; every product-hero moment uses the approved product still composited under a real camera push-in (ffmpeg zoompan), swapped in on hard cuts. The motion stays cinematic, the product stays exactly itself.
5 · Edit, audio & QA
Cut to 13 shots in ffmpeg, scored with two ElevenLabs music variants (Dark Trap + Upbeat Funk) for A/B, SFX layered, audio loudness-normalized. Then we QA every product-visible frame at full 24fps — not sampled — because single-frame morphs hide between samples. Carloginn ran v2 → v11 before it was clean.
6 · Delivery
Final master + both music variants delivered to the client (Google Drive + WhatsApp), ready to run as a Meta ad.
Where it landed
- Under ₹250 in AI generation credits for the full ad — versus ₹40,000+ for a comparable shoot
- ~99% lower cost, delivered in under a week including multiple QA rounds
- A 9:16, ~15-second, 13-shot reel with A/B music, product geometry intact
- Re-cuts and new hooks cost ffmpeg time, not another shoot
Not a one-off — a repeatable capability
Carloginn isn’t the only place we’ve run this. For apparel brand Fashion Heist, we produced a strobe-reveal demo for the PHANTOM Oversized Reflective tee — a black tee that stays matte until light hits, then ignites in holographic colour — as a self-funded capability demo:
Same pipeline, different vertical. A single ship-ready concept costs a few hundred rupees in credits; an entire multi-concept campaign slate lands around ₹5,000 — the price of a fraction of one traditional shoot.

Result
ATIL produced the full 'Carry Different' ad — a 9:16, ~15s, 13-shot lifestyle reel with music A/B variants — end-to-end with AI for under ₹250 in generation credits. Delivered in under a week including QA. The exact product geometry (the 4-button smart key) was protected using an approved-still compositing technique so nothing morphed on screen.
